Privacy & cookies policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Who is responsible?

Invicius is operated by Vinicius Affonso de Carvalho, in France. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact.invicius@gmail.com. This policy covers invicius.com, www.invicius.com.

Site features and data processing

This policy covers the website as a whole, including its interactive features and any downloadable content. In the current version, information entered into interactive features is processed in your browser, without being sent to an Invicius server or saved in a user account. Any downloadable files offered by these features are generated on your device; you control their storage and sharing. Closing or reloading a page normally clears the current session; browser recovery features may retain form content independently. This does not exclude the technical processing by external services described below. If a future feature introduces server processing, saved accounts or a new use of personal data, this policy will be updated to explain it.

Language preference

The site stores your selected language on your device using localStorage, under invicius_language_v3. It reads your browser language to select an initial language. This preference is used for the interface, not advertising, and remains until overwritten or removed by clearing the site data in your browser.

Hosting and technical information

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub records visitor IP addresses for security purposes. Hosting and external services also receive technical information needed to deliver a page, such as browser information and request details. Invicius does not maintain a separate visitor database or install an analytics tracker in this version. See GitHub’s privacy statement for its processing and retention practices.

Google Fonts

The homepage and calculator load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore contacts Google, which receives technical connection information, including your IP address. See Google Fonts privacy information. The privacy page itself uses system fonts.

Advertising and consent

Invicius is configured for Google AdSense. When advertising services are loaded, Google and other advertising partners may use cookies, identifiers, web beacons and technical information such as IP address, browser, pages visited and ad interactions. Advertising cookies may support ads based on visits to this and other websites, ad measurement and fraud prevention. We do not intentionally transmit information entered into interactive features to advertising partners. Ad availability depends on approval, configuration, location and your choices. Where consent is required, optional advertising storage and personalisation depend on your consent. Non-personalised ads can still involve technical data and cookies; rejecting personalisation does not mean no processing occurs. The consent message, when available, identifies participating partners and offers choices. Read how Google uses information from partner sites and Google’s privacy policy. You can also manage Google advertising preferences at My Ad Center and participating companies’ interest-based advertising at YourAdChoices. These controls do not replace site consent choices.

Purposes, legal bases and retention

We use information to provide the site, remember requested preferences, respond to messages, protect services and, where enabled, fund the site through advertising. Under the GDPR, responding to enquiries and maintaining security rely on legitimate interests; legally required request handling relies on legal obligations; advertising requiring consent relies on consent. Emails include your address and whatever you voluntarily send. They are handled through Gmail and retained only as long as necessary to resolve the enquiry and document follow-up or meet applicable legal requirements. Information entered into interactive features remain in browser memory; exported files remain under your control. Language storage lasts until cleared. Advertising and hosting retention varies by provider and purpose; consult the linked policies and consent information.

Recipients and international transfers

Relevant information may be handled by GitHub for hosting and Google for email, fonts and advertising, and by advertising partners identified in the consent message. These providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Their policies describe applicable safeguards, including adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses where relevant.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Use the site’s consent controls when displayed, or contact us. We will assess requests concerning processing for which we are responsible; additional clarification or proportionate identity verification may be necessary. If we do not hold the requested data, we will explain that. GDPR requests are normally answered within one month; a justified extension may be notified within that month. You can complain to the CNIL or your competent supervisory authority. Clearing browser site data removes local preferences and can reset consent choices. Contact us for applicable US state privacy requests as well; available rights depend on the law’s scope and eligibility.

Updates

We will update this page when the site’s processing changes. The date above identifies this version.
